Salma Hayek
Salma Hayek Pinault born Salma Valgarma Hayek Jameson; September 2nd, 1966)[3][4][5] is a Mexican and American actress as well as film producer. In Mexico she started her career by playing the character as Teresa in the Telenovela (1989-1991) and El Callejon de los Milagros (1995), where she was nominated for an Ariel Award. With roles in films like Desperado (1995), From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999) and Dogma (1999) In 1999, she quickly established herself in Hollywood. Hayek's performance as Frida Kahlo, a painter, in Frida (2002) which was a biographical film she produced, earned her the Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[6for the role of Frida Kahlo in Frida (2002). Also, she was awarded her Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award and British Academy Film Award nominations. Hayek continued to make films as well as starring in action films like Once Upon a Time in Mexico later on in her career.
