Katheryn Winnick
Canadian actor, director and director Katheryn Winnick starred in the widely praised, Emmy award-winning TV series Vikings which was produced by MGM and The History Channel. Winnick is also the director for one episode from Vikings in the year 2020. Entertainment Weekly stated that her role as "Lagertha may be the most thrilling feminist on television." The role she plays as the fierce shieldmaiden has garnered her several notable awards, including an award from the Women's Image Network award for the best Actress in drama Series in the year 2018, and a nomination for the Critic's Pick Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series as well as an award nomination for the Canadian Screen Award nomination for the best performance by a lead Actress in a Dramatic Actress (2014) also Most Outstanding Actress in an Drama Series according to The Women's Image Network nominations in 2014, 2015, and 2016 and she received a Golden Maple Award nomination for Best Actress in a TV Series. Katheryn was also awarded the Serendipity Film Award of Excellence during this year's Banff World Media Festival 2015. Katheryn was chosen to serve as juror for the upcoming Cannes Series Festival.
