Madekwe, a British-Nigerian mixed race child was born into a family in South London. Her father is Nigerian Swiss as is her mom who's English. She grew on a South London community estate, as a teenager, she fourteen, she attended The Brit School. She went to The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in which she earned an acting BA. She appeared on stage in several productions as a student like the role of King Henry V, as Princess Katherine, and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw. Madekwe got her start in acting with a film titled Storm Damage. In the following years, she appeared on Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakout came with 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was in the role of Colin Farrell (who played the role of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. Then, she played Elisha, the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In her role, she also played Ollie in the six episodes from Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. I...
