Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. She was a boxer, fighter in kickboxing BJJ, and wrestling. She made her amateur debut at age 18 at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd took advantage of this win and subsequently went on a 3 fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round of each fight. After that, she went to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen and defeated her via unanimous decision to put the blemish on Aspen's amateur record. Ladd recovered from the loss with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, increasing her record to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won her fight in the opening round by TKO. Aspen won her subsequent fight with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. Aspen then fought at bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen took on McGill through her grappling and finished her off in the third round with a TKO. Aspen took on Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing weight of catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd was unable to reach her weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. Aspen won her fight by KO in the 2nd round. In her last bout for this promotion, Ladd beat Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 in the fight against Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina using ground and pound to defeat her by TKO in the second-round. In her next fight, she defeated Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd won over Evinger within the first minute she was awarded a bonus to commemorate her performance of the evening. The first big fight she fought in was with her next bout at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Her victory was an unanimous decision and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award was awarded to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. After a break of a few seconds, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya at UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. For a rematch, she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
